The use of numerically controlled workstations makes it possible to mass-produce hardwood components. Moreover, thanks to the support provided by technologically advanced CAD/CAM software, Maroni can manufacture "tensioned elastic" surfaces with a single edge thickness that express "suspended" geometric forms.

Today, through the deployment of Extreme Woodworking® technology, Maroni can produce ultra-thin components with thicknesses close to breaking point that remain, however, within the tolerances of the narrow thicknesses of plastic components
and so can be used in the manufacture of hi-tech industrial products.
